The Office of the Tibetan Legal Association had sanctioned a “two days Menstrual pain leave” to their female employees since March 2023 commemorating International Women’s Day.
Keeping in mind that every woman’s body is different and has a different frequency of pain, we found it of utmost importance to act on it. Countries like Japan and Korea have already started this initiative and following their footsteps, renowned companies in India like Swiggy, Zomato and Byju’s too give their female employees paid menstrual pain leave.
With this, we not only want to support and empower women but also set a standard of keeping up with the changing times and enabling power to bring change.
