On 19thMay, 2017, a meeting was held with the board members of Tibetan Legal Association and executive Director of The Tibet Fund Mr. Lobsang Nyandak and Vice President Bob Ankerson for strengthening legal service in Partner
ship with The Tibet Fund.The Tibet’s Fund is a major sponsor for our organization and we believe that we wouldn’t have accomplished everything we have triumphed over the years without TFF’s financial help and assistance.
We have discussed about how to increase and enhance awareness of legal services among our community. The executive Director, Mr. Lobsang Nyendak intimated on three basic objectives of our organization; First and foremost, the notability and sustainability of the Organization financially. He suggested having basis to charge fees for legal service for self reliance. Secondly, he emphasized on the importance of legal awareness and how valuable it is. He appreciates the legal awareness programs and the cases represented by lawyers at Tibetan legal Association .TLA had very productive and valuable discussion with Mr. Lobsang Nyandak. His valuable suggestions would be guiding light for the betterment of Tibetan Legal Association.
The Tibet Fund further promised to continue its support toward our organization. And we hereby pledge to abide our help to the community through TLA with its fund and aids.
