We are enriched with all the works and not in short of any words for all the contributions that he had made towards our Tibetan society; and not to forget he was one of the foremost civil servant who served Potala Governance under His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in Tibet and while in exile he also served upon various field entrusted upon him by the exile governance. He was also known as typewriter man of his time with standard of work he carried forward and not to mention his dedication towards the cause.

Sir Ngawang Thondup Narkyid was born on 6th September 1931 in Dagpo in U-tsang province. He was a member of Reformation Committee in 1957. He was also a Mayor of Lhasa in 1958. In 1959 he escaped from Tibet and continued his service in Central Tibetan Administration, in India, where he worked as Secretary for Department of Information and International Relations from 1960-68. The ‘Tibetan Legal Association‘ though is in its infant stage of formation, but we owe Sir, Ngawang Thondup Nyarik la for all his advocacy and for being one of the pioneers of the whole idea, conceptualising the creation of such Association of Tibetan legal fraternity called ‘Tibetan Legal Association’.
