On 18th August 2023, the team of TLA paid a visit to the office of Sikyong Penpa Tsering in Dharamsala Himachal Pradesh.
We discussed current issues of Tibetans in exile and focused on key areas of improvement from a legal point of view.
We conversed about critical plannings to overcome these stepping stones and to have a better layout for Tibetans inside India. We discussed the importance of legal awareness and knowledge in the community and how we can enable this access to the general public.
The meeting ended on a bright note with many creative ideas and solutions. It was an informative session and a learnable moment.
