On 5th September 2025, during the “Career Guidance through Psychometric and Artificial Intelligence” program organized by the CTA’s Department of Education for Career Counsellors of Tibetan schools, TLA had the privilege of conducting a dedicated two-hour session on POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) and the Juvenile Justice Act.

The session aimed to raise awareness among career counsellors about the legal frameworks that protect children and adolescents, highlighting their rights, the procedures for reporting violations, and the critical role educators and counsellors play in ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students. Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, participants explored practical strategies for identifying, addressing, and preventing cases of abuse while staying compliant with the law.

We are deeply grateful to the CTA’s Department of Education for providing TLA with this opportunity to contribute to such an important initiative. The engagement and enthusiasm of the counsellors reflected their commitment to creating safer learning spaces for Tibetan children, and we look forward to continuing such collaborations in the future.
