It is hereby informed to the general Tibetan public, especially amongst the young Tibetan women that, off late we’ve received with many complaints and seeking remedial help/assistance from our fellow Tibetan sisters on a subject of deceit and fraudulent committed to them by few fellow Tibetan men, who are settled abroad (West), who through social media lured them with possible act of love, followed with a genuine marriages and making them dream of ultimate migration to the west through a deceitful/fraudulent manner.
Our intention here through this Facebook post is not to malign the interest of our general Tibetan men, but to showcase those fraudster characteristic men who lured our Tibetan sisters with fake promises of love, marriages and doomed them either emotionally or financially sometime. There is not once incident but we’ve received with several complaints of similar nature, where Tibetan men settled in a west through social media gets connected to Tibetan young women in India and gradually promised them of love and marriages.
- In one case, where a man is already a married to a women in the west and through a social media he gets connected to a women in India and later he visits India and again he remarries that women in India and physically abuses her (Rape) throughout during his stay in India and later completely deserted her. And later his whereabouts is not traceable and completely ignored that woman.
- And in a another case, a Tibetan man has married several Tibetan women’s settled in a different parts of India through a genuine marriage registration, after taking several lakhs from her/family and with a promise of migrating her through a spousal category of his country. And after payment is made and marriage registration is done, that man completely disappeared away the bounty.
Our message through this post is to make our fellow Tibetan sister to be aware about that imposters/fraudster and to verify the very identity of any men who promises them of love, marriages and immigration to the west, either through love or immigration through haughty money in exchange. It is further requested to our fellow Tibetans sisters to register their marriage with the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the registration will be linked to WCD ministry’s website if there is any doubt on possible desertion in near future.
