Procedure for acquring birth certificate

Birth certificate is one of the crucial documents of our identity and thereupon associated with various other works which we are associated with throughout our lives; be it for the registration of our RC or schools or college’s admission and many other important works.

And there are situations when due to lack of knowledge amongst our parent and those who are born at home, not in hospital cannot get with such birth certificates. Parent no matter where their child are being born, within a period of fortnight they can register their child birth at their Panchayat and if it’s too late out of stipulated time period, then they can acquire their birth certificate depending upon where the child was born by following the procedure below…
1. One has to apply for Non Availability Certificate from your concern village panchayat where the child was born and if the child is born within the jurisdiction of limit of Municipal Corporation then such Non Availability Certificate can be acquired from such MC.
2. After having acquired with the NAC, one has to get No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your nearest government Chief Medical Officer for their birth certificate.
3. Publish a newspaper declaration for your date of birth on such an such date and get a copy of such publication.
4. And after having received with the NOC from the Chief Medical Officer and newspaper publication, one has to apply for birth certificate from the Executive Magistrate by filing a petition for the same, accompanied with all the essential document of prove of your birth along with two witnesses elder to one who is applying for his/her birth certificate from the said jurisdiction.Thus, within a time period, the hon’ble Executive Magistrate will issue a order to the concerned panchayat or Municipal Corporation office to issue a birth certificate for you.
5. And finally after having received with the Order Copy from the Magistrate, one can get their fresh birth certificate issued.
