{"id":915,"date":"2020-01-03T09:35:21","date_gmt":"2020-01-03T09:35:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/?p=915"},"modified":"2020-01-03T09:35:36","modified_gmt":"2020-01-03T09:35:36","slug":"ms-siri-sakhamuru-successfully-completed-her-one-month-internship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/ms-siri-sakhamuru-successfully-completed-her-one-month-internship\/","title":{"rendered":"Ms.Siri Sakhamuru successfully completed her one month internship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-916\" src=\"http:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/intern-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/intern-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/intern-660x880.jpg 660w, https:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/intern.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>Ms. Siri Sakhamuru, 5<sup>th<\/sup> year, B.B.A.L.L.B (Hons.) a student of ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad has interned in our Association form 9<sup>th<\/sup> December 2019 to 15<sup>th<\/sup> January 2020 for a period of one month and fifteen days.<\/p>\n<p>During her time as an intern, she has assisted the associates and the members of the organization at various levels and has involved in the following activities;<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>She has assisted the clients regarding providing information relating to citizenship and application of Birth Certificates.<\/li>\n<li>She has extensively researched on the legal status of Tibetans in India.<\/li>\n<li>She assisted as well as drafted the sexual harassment policy for our association and has also proof read the same.<\/li>\n<li>She has made a study on the United Nation\u2019s Convention relating to the Status of Refugees, 1951 and it\u2019s Protocol, 1967.<\/li>\n<li>She made a research analysis on the need for a definitive legal framework for Tibetans in India, especially defining their legal status.<\/li>\n<li>She has understood the working and structure of the Central Tibetan Administration as well as the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.<\/li>\n<li>She has researched on the recent amendment to the Citizenship Act, 1956<\/li>\n<li>She was primarily involved in her project work titled, \u201cThe Legal Status of Tibetans in India \u2013 With a special reference to Citizenship Act, 1956 and the Foreigner\u2019s Act, 1946\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As an intern Siri has exhibited efficient research skills with analytical approach.\u00a0 Her attitude towards work showed perseverance and dedication towards the work is commendable.\u00a0 Her work as an intern was valuable and efficient.
