TLA is mainly for creating legal awareness among Tibetan communities, to solve legal problems they are facing. <!--more-->TLA organizes different trainings and workshop for up lifting the legal knowledge among Tibetans.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-763\" src=\"http:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/26733412_10215618080073471_6536748168651414446_n-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/26733412_10215618080073471_6536748168651414446_n-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/26733412_10215618080073471_6536748168651414446_n-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/26733412_10215618080073471_6536748168651414446_n-660x440.jpg 660w, https:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/26733412_10215618080073471_6536748168651414446_n.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>On 11<sup>th<\/sup> Jan 2018, that Ms. Namgyal Tsekey Standing Senior lawyer \/Board member of TLA, and Dr. Tamara from London School of Economic held a legal training talk to those Tibetan Law students form different college along with other Tibetan college students at Tibetan Youth Hostel, Bangalore.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Tamara talked on the topic of \u201cIntroduction of Law and concepts\u201d and \u201cTibetan Conflict Resolutions\u201d Ms. Namgyal Tsekey talked on the topics of<\/p>\n<p>\u201c Introduction of substantive laws and Litigation procedure before Tibetan Justice commission\u201d and \u201cConcept of Marriage and Divorce in relation to immigration process\u201d etc.<\/p>\n<p>Also had a group discussion on general Issues affecting Tibetans in India &amp; contemporary developments.<\/p>\n<p>Around 50 college students from different colleges from South India participated.<\/p>\n<p>Brief introduction of Dr. Tamara Relis<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-764\" src=\"http:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/26697033_10208503399662018_887098192_n-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"158\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/26697033_10208503399662018_887098192_n-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/tibetanlegalassociation.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/26697033_10208503399662018_887098192_n.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 158px) 100vw, 158px\" \/>Dr. Tamara Relis is a Visa and Immigration attorney. She has been a lawyer since 1998 and has repeatedly won awards for producing strategic applications involving legal research in the top 5% of hundreds of others submitted. She has represented over 100 cases in courts as a trial lawyer (barrister\/litigation), and has worked as a US Law Professor of Evidence, Human Rights and Conflict Resolution, as well as a postdoctoral legal fellow at Columbia Law School and London School of Economics.
