On April 21, 2025, TLA, in collaboration with the Women Empowerment Desk, conducted a workshop for both teaching and non-teaching staff at THS Rajpur, by Ms Tenzin Dolkar and Mr Jampa Wangchuk. The session focused on the legal aspects of child sexual abuse in India, including trial procedures pertinent to such cases. Key provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act of 2012 were thoroughly examined, emphasizing mandatory reporting, the role of special courts, and the process for recording a child’s statement, among other critical topics. The session concluded with a productive Q&A segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
