The mediation workshop for Tibetan settlement officers in South and Central India took place from 3rd to the 6th August, 2024 at Bylakupee. The workshop was organized by the Tibetan Centre for Conflict Resolution (TCCR). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the second day, lawyers from TLA provided training to the officers on essential legal topics relevant to our society. This included discussions on basic trial procedures, filing an FIR, recent changes in criminal Acts, issues related to crimes against women and children, and documentation-related problems in the Tibetan community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TLA lawyers had the opportunity to participate in all four days of workshops organized by TCCR, gaining insightful learning and networking with various stakeholders. We express our gratitude to TCCR for providing us with this opportunity and for their belief in our partnership. We look forward to continuing our collaboration in the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
