Poland, Denmark and Italy file interventions in ICJ investigation of alleged Russian genocide in Ukraine

The Republic of Poland, the Kingdom of Denmark and the Italian Republic Friday filed declarations of intervention in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the case of Ukraine v. Russian Federation. Human rights experts across the world have accused Russia of genocide during its invasion of Ukraine.

US appeals court upholds controversial Texas law restricting social media regulation of speech

The US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit Friday ruled that Texas law HB 20, which prohibits social media platforms from censoring users “based on viewpoint” and requires them to release biannual transparency reports, is constitutional. Judge Andrew S. Oldham wrote the opinion, and judge Edith H. Jones concurred.
