On 22nd January 2024, TLA organized an “Online Interactive Session on L.L.M with Tibetan Law Students from Harvard Law School, Nordin la, and Georgetown Law School, Rigzin la. The session was to discuss on the process of pursuing an LLM abroad and how to effectively navigate the complex admission process.

The session was truly an amazing experience, and the participants who are aspiring law students found it extremely beneficial as well. During the session, we had an opportunity to learn about various aspects of the admission process, scholarship opportunities, SOP development, and much more.

Nordin, in particular, provided us with valuable insights on how to score a TSP scholarship, highlighting its benefits, and detailing possible preparation strategies. Rigzin, on the other hand, shared valuable advice on how to choose subjects in LLM, and how to write a compelling SOP. Her guidance on these crucial aspects of the application process was truly invaluable.

One key message that resonated throughout the session was the importance of believing in oneself. They emphasised that with determination and self-belief, success in pursuing an LLM abroad is attainable for anyone willing to put in the effort.
