On 8th March 2024, in celebration of International Women’s Day and in line with this year’s theme of “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”, we are pleased to announce that TLA has opened a FREE LEGAL AID CELL for Tibetan women and children every Friday. The legal cell will be operated every Friday, where a licensed lawyer will be available to provide free legal counselling sessions for women and children who are survivors of violence and abuse. This initiative aims to provide support and assistance to those who have experienced such traumas, ensuring that they have access to the legal help they need.
We believe that by investing in women and children, we can help accelerate progress towards a more just and equal society. We hope that this legal aid cell will be a valuable resource for those in need, and we encourage everyone to spread the word and make use of this important service.
